I’m excited to announce the latest partnership for Mercury Grove in local Ottawa startup IdeaVibes.
Four months ago we announced the launch of our grassroots, community accelerator program and it has been a great success. The initial three companies : ND Storefront, Vegan Cuts, and OpenEra have achieved amazing growth (we’ll be releasing more details very soon).
I’ve been working over the last few months with IdeaVibes CEO, Paul Dombowsky on a refresh of the IdeaVibes model, team, and go to market strategy, and I think there is an opportunity to fill a massive void in a global crowdsourcing market. Despite the rise in popularity of social media sites, online communities, and (more recently) crowd funding sites, there is no “go to” destination that empowers people to affect constructive, positive change in a real and disruptive way. I believe that Paul’s vision coupled with our ability to achieve early user growth, a strong management team, and a beautiful online experience can achieve this.
Over the next few weeks you’ll see a lot about Idea Vibes, the new organization, and the launch of the new vision. We’re excited to be part of this endeavor.
Below is the official media release.
